Inocybe bongardii (Weinm.) Quél Duftender Risspilz, Fruity Fibrecap. Cap 36cm across, conico-convex then bell-shaped, pale cinnamon with pink flush, densely covered with slightly darker scales. Stem 50100 x 510mm, silky, whitish but bruising red, finally entirely brownish. Flesh white becoming pinkish-buff. Taste mild, smell fruity, like ripe pears. Gills pale olive-grey becoming olive-cinnamon, edge white. Cheilocystidia thin-walled, cylindric to clavate. Spore print snuff-brown. Spores bean-shaped, smooth, 1012 x 67µ. Habitat coniferous and deciduous woods. Season autumn. Uncommon. Poisonous. Found In Europe. |
